Ms. Reisbaum is an experienced litigator and trial lawyer. Her practice focuses on complex commercial, regulatory, and intellectual property disputes. Clients include established public and private companies, start-ups, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and government agencies. Ms. Reisbaum began her career at Debevoise & Plimpton and served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York. She has been named to the New York Super Lawyers list every year since 2013.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

After a three-week federal jury trial, obtained a successful settlement for plaintiffs Domenico and Eleanore De Sole against the Knoedler Gallery, Ann Freedman, and others arising out of the defendants’ engineering of one of the biggest art frauds in history.

Represent Amanda Schmitt in a transformational #MeToo case against Artforum magazine.

Obtained complete victory, including attorney’s fees, on behalf of The Related Companies in connection with a dispute over the sale of a $10M apartment designed by Zaha Hadid.

Represent the Association for Computing Machinery, the oldest and largest computing science association in a variety of matters including investigations, and intellectual property and contract negotiations.

Represented Audible, Inc. in a copyright dispute with multiple publishing houses.

Represent the New York State Department of Health and Office of the State Comptroller in multiple high profile litigations challenging the constitutionality of regulations concerning hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.

Obtained a jury verdict on behalf of a Moscow-based art dealer and gallery in an art forgery litigation.


Represent gemstone dealers and their companies in a dispute concerning the ownership of the Princie Diamond.

Obtained a favorable settlement on behalf of StreetEasy in a dispute involving cyber-squatting, breach of fiduciary duty, conversion, and corporate governance claims against a shareholder and co-founder.

Represent Amazon, Inc. in multiple customer and provider disputes.

Represent the Citywide Council of Presidents, the representative of over 400,000 NYCHA residents, in litigation demanding decent, safe, and sanitary NYCHA housing.

Provide general governance advice to the Rock Foundation, dedicated to the preservation of indigenous art and culture, co-founded by Adeldaide de Menil.

Represent trading and technology companies in breach of contract disputes.

Represent individuals in their separations from partnerships and employers.
